Well I can honestly say I've been dazed and confused,
I thought kettles were for boiling water, now they're pouring through the news,
No you're right, we don't need no explanation
It's not like people up and down the country have been sitting in occupation,
Maybe we should go and get proper jobs,
It's not like Dylan ever made any money out of singing red songs or Mozart was influential and nobody will remember Da Vinci,
And I bet you money Van Gough didn't know how to work a spreadsheet.
We ain't no Dotted Line, we ain't no 'Please Cut Here',
And we won't stand in line to let you tread on what we fear,
Well, I hope you like the colour Grey,
Because it's the only thing left that's here to stay,
And we'll have grey banks, grey streets, grey pubs with grey romance,
In grey fields, with grey corn, and grey songs with grey chords.
I can safely say I've never been this excited over a piece of plastic in my entire life! This is awesome! It's impossible to pick a favourite when every track is a banger. The lyrics are on point and delivered with an acerbic wit and passion that leaves me in no doubt that they're spoken from the heart. I need more of this in my life! Dylan Barry
